Research on the tension control system of the external fabric rolling device

As an optional device for weaving machines, the external fabric winding device is widely used in textile enterprises due to its maximum fabric winding diameter not being limited by the internal space of the weaving machine, which can achieve large roll packaging of fabrics. The winding quality of the fabric roll and the control of fabric tension during the winding process are the main performance indicators of the fabric winding device. Currently, there are mainly two types of domestically produced external winding equipment: mechanical and variable frequency control. The winding quality and fabric tension control accuracy are not very ideal.
In response to the above situation, the main research focuses on the tension control problem and its solution of the external fabric rolling device
A mathematical model of the fabric tension control system of the double bottom roller surface transmission type external fabric winding device was constructed through dynamic analysis of the winding roller and friction roller (i.e. rough roller) during the winding process, and various influencing factors of fabric tension were analyzed; On this basis, a dual closed-loop series control structure and MID control algorithm were adopted to design a fabric tension control system for the external fabric winding device. Furthermore, to overcome the conventional PID control algorithm, a fabric tension control system for the external fabric winding device was designed. Furthermore, to overcome the difficulties in tuning, poor control effect, and large overshoot of the conventional PID control method, a BP neural network PM control algorithm was proposed to achieve fabric tension control, and the fabric tension control situation of this scheme was analyzed using MATLAB tools
Simulation results show that the fabric tension control method is effective and significantly superior to conventional PID control methods.
In addition, this article establishes a hardware platform for the tension control system of the external fabric rolling device and designs tension control software The network structure of the tension control system was constructed using SIEMENS S7-200 PLC as the main controller, combined with servo drivers and upper computer PC, meeting the requirements of distributed control At the same time, a method of combining PLC with BP neural network PID control algorithm using WinCC configuration software was proposed, and a new mean digital filtering method based on normal distribution rules was proposed, providing a feasible approach for the implementation of the system
